Book with confidence for winter 2020-2021
We would like to reassure our guests that we are looking ahead to next winter with hopes for lots of snow, mountains and sunshine making for some great skiing and happy holidays in Courchevel Le Praz and La Tania.
Ski Magic COVID-19 refunds
We have put together a clear policy to provide protection should COVID-19 related government restrictions mean that you are unable to travel. This guarantee applies to all new and existing bookings for holidays between 1st December 2020 and 30th April 2021.
We are offering the following two options:
Your choice of refund or rebooking:
Should you be unable to travel for any of the reasons listed below, you can choose whether to:
- Receive a refund
- Put your deposit towards a chalet in winter 2021-22 (and receive any balance payments as a refund)
1. Our refund policy
If you are unable to travel to the chalet you have booked for the reasons listed below, you can choose for Ski Magic to reimburse the payments you have made to us, with the exception of £100 per person to cover administrative and operational costs already incurred by Ski Magic in the organisation of your holiday.
2. Changing the date of your holiday
If you are unable to travel to the chalet you have booked for the reasons listed below, you can choose to put your deposit of £300 per person already made to Ski Magic towards a similar chalet reservation during winter 2021-2022. Your balance payments will be fully refunded.
Reasons for cancellation
If, prior to the start of your arrangements, your booking cannot proceed due to any of the following reasons linked to the coronavirus pandemic, you will be entitled to choose from the two options outlined above.
Reasons for cancellation are:
- The French authorities impose regional or national restrictions which result in the closure of the French border, closure of the ski resort or essential facilities or necessitate the closure of the chalet.
- The authorities of your home country advise against all but essential travel to France.
In no circumstances are we responsible for any other expenses including, without limitation, the cost of flights or any other form of transport.
If you are unwilling to travel
for any reason, or you are unable to travel due to medical reasons, normal cancellation charges apply.
It will still be necessary for you to secure travel insurance to cover your stay with us. We have updated our terms and conditions to reflect these changes to our usual booking policy.
Our flexible catered chalet service
At Ski Magic we are determined to continue to welcome guests to our chalets and run our services in our usual way. We are more than happy to offer a flexible service to suit your group’s needs, please get in touch to discuss your requirements. We are also offering Chalet Matisse Bas as a self-catered chalet for 8 guests.
Our chalet team (who hold health & hygiene certificates as a matter of course) will be adhering to local authority hygiene measures and will be using the recommended anti-viral products.

No admin fees: Change of name is free of charge at any time before arrival in resort.
Getting to resort: For self-drive guests, we are happy to help you with route planning and free parking once you arrive in our chalets in La Tania or Le Praz.
Lift passes: Pro rata refunds are available for unused days on your lift pass, should the resort be closed due to the pandemic.
