The Trois Vallees is reputed to be one of the Worlds best ski areas as it is so varied, extensive and snow sure due to the resorts height and aspect. Despite all of the bad press in the UK last winter, here in the Trois Vallees although slightly warmer then some previous winters, there was plenty of snow and we could ski back to La Tania from December through to April. There was never a day when we couldn't ski! There really are slopes to suit everyone. There is an amazing choice of meticulously prepared green, blue and red pistes and some superb runs through the trees towards La Tania which have snow cannons all the way into the village to ensure snow cover is excellent all season long. There are long open sweeping pistes on the Combe de Saulire and Creux. For experts, the couloirs have some of the steepest skiing in the Alps and good bumps are always available on Chanrossa, Marmottes and Suisse. The superb lift system in the Three Valleys means that you rarely have to queue and the lift company have installed a new electronic system. No more fumbling in your pocket to show your lift pass! There is a half pipe and jumps and kickers in the Snowboarding Park in Courchevel to keep snowboarders happy. Whatever your standard, you’re spoilt for choice in Courchevel and La Tania. Gordon & Jane are both British Association of Snowsports qualified instructors andtogether with our team of talented ski hosts, are happy to ski with you on several days during your stay. They will help you to find your way around this extensive ski area, show you where the best mountain restaurants and snow can be found and take you to the bars serving the best vin chaud ever!   Arrangements for ski guiding are made in the chalets. It is best suited to the more confident skier, although everyone except the basic beginner is welcome.  Weather conditions permitting we will normally include a full day trip into the Three Valleys or even into the Fourth valley.
	For those who wish to improve their technique we recommend ski lessons. We work with some excellent ski schools in Courchevel and La Tania who conduct their lessons in English and in small groups. For the more adventurous we can organise days off piste with a mountain guide. We advise our clients to book early to avoid disappointment, especially in high season.
