Lift Passes

Lift passes in the Three Valleys are now electronic, hands free and do not need photos except for concessions. No more fumbling in your pocket to find your lift pass!

To prevent long queues on Sunday morning, tour operators have been asked to encourage guests to purchase their passes through their tour operator’s account before normal trading hours on Sunday morning. We will call to your chalet on Saturday afternoon or evening, take your order and collect payment. You can pay by Euro currency, Euro travellers cheque, credit or debit card. Lift passes will then be delivered to the chalet before 9am on Sunday. If you prefer you can pre-order and pre-pay for your passes in the UK and we will have them waiting for you on your arrival in resort.

SKI HIRE

To avoid lengthy queues in the local ski hire shops, we have arranged for skis, boards and boots to be fitted in the comfort of your chalet, usually on the evening that you arrive in resort. Prices are comparable to those charged in the local shops and you don’t have to take your kit back at the end of your stay! Just leave it in the chalet and it will be collected.

SKI SCHOOLS

For those who wish to improve their technique we recommend lessons. We work with some excellent ski schools in Courchevel and La Tania who conduct their lessons in English and in small groups.

We strongly advise you to book ski school early, especially in the peak weeks. You can book your skis school directly through the links below or if you prefer, we can book it for you. Please download ski school requirement form and post to our office pdf.

They set up the first Magic, an independent snowsports school, with a mission to pass on their passion for the mountains and it’s different sports. The idea was fun but professional lessons taught in English in small groups and private lessons were provided.

SKI EXCEL

Ski Excel offer private tuition or group lessons. Patsi and Bastien are based in La Tania, and will either pick up from the chalet or meet in the village. At the end of the week, you will be given a free cd of your week's skiing.

SKI SCHOOLS BASED IN COURCHEVEL 1850

When booking ski schools in 1850, please bear in mind that if you book lessons to start early in the morning it is unlikely that you will be able to ski over from La Tania in time. However, we offer a complimentary mini bus service for children accompanied by a parent and beginners only which will transport you from your chalet in La Tania to the ski school meeting point or a gondola that will take you to Courchevel 1850 in time for lessons starting at 9.15am. Places are limited so please inform us if you require this service.

SKI GUIDING

Gordon and Jane are both BASI qualified instructors and together with their team of talented ski hosts, are happy to ski with you on several days during your stay. They will help you where to find the best mountain restaurants, snow and take you to the bars serving the best vin chaud ever! Arrangements for ski guiding are made in the chalets. It is best suited to the more confident skier though everyone except basic beginners are welcome. Weather conditions permitting, we will normally include a full day trip into the Three Valleys or even the Fourth Valley.
