The Three Vallees

The three vallees is one of the worlds largest ski areas, comprising 5 resorts - Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens and La Tania. It boasts 600km of marked runs, 200 direct ski lifts, over 1230 snow canons and a tremendous variety of skiing for all abilities. There is a fun park with half pipe and plenty of jumps for boarders. Snow conditions are almost guaranteed to be good from early December to late April. Despite all the bad press in the UK last winter regarding the lack of snow in the Alps, we were able to ski back to La Tania every day of the season from December to April!

La Tania

La Tania is located in the Courchevel valley at 1400 metres and is a true ski to door resort with a friendly, relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

La Tania is a pedestrian only resort which is particularly safe for children. The village has its own tourist office, supermarket and post office as well as bars and small restaurants. The modern Tania gondola links directly into the Trois Vallees system, and the blue, tree lined piste, Folyeres, which has snow cannons all the way into the village, is a lovely run to finish your days skiing. An easy green run from the top of the gondola to La Tania village is being constructed this summer.

Courchevel 1550

Courchevel 1550 is a traditional, friendly French  village with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, which is linked directly to Courchevel 1850 by a new bubble due to be installed for next season.

There is also a toboggan run between Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1550 which is open until 7pm and is great apres ski fun.

Ski Bus

There is a free ski bus that runs all day and until late in the evening which links all of the villages.
