
1.BOOKING AND DEPOSIT
A signed booking form together with a deposit of £50 per person must be
received within seven days from your telephone booking. Cheques should be made
payable to Ski Magic Ltd. If the booking is made within 10 weeks of departure
date it must be accompanied by the full holiday cost.
Where flights or train travel form part of the client's holiday and are booked
via Ski Magic, they are booked on a separate contract with a licensed ATOL operator
from whom Ski Magic acts as an agent. The ATOL holders bond only covers the
flight and air travel arrangements. A separate deposit of £50 should be
made payable to our flight agent and sent to us.
No contract shall exist between Ski Magic and the client until a signed booking
form is received and Ski Magic has issued a confirmation invoice to the client.
The contract is subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the
English courts.
2.LIABILITY
Ski Magic does not accept liability for the actions or omissions of any company,
person or circumstances over which Ski Magic has no direct control and/or who
or not employed by Ski Magic. This includes but is not limited to, persons providing
transportation, namely airlines, train and ferry services, taxis, ski lift companies
and other tour operators or agents in the resort.
3. PAYMENT
The total balance is due no later than 10 weeks prior to departure. If payment
is not received by the due date, Ski Magic reserves the right to cancel the
booking and applicable cancellation charges will apply.
4. CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
Cancellation of your holiday for whatever reason should be notified in writing
to Ski Magic. Cancellation charges are as follows:
More than 10 weeks Loss of deposit
6 - 10 weeks 40%
4 - 6 weeks 60%
Less than 4 weeks 100%
5. CANCELLATION BY SKI MAGIC
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your holiday, all monies paid to
us will be refunded.
6. DAMAGE
Any damage to the chalet, any of its contents or any other property belonging
to Ski Magic by the client, whether accidental or deliberate, must be paid for
in resort.
7. PRICE GUARANTEE
We guarantee that no surcharge will be added once you have made a confirmed
booking. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the price of our holidays
at will, however the price shown on the confirmation invoice will be the price
charged.
8. DELAYS
Ski Magic will endeavour, wherever possible to prevent delays occurring, but
however, there may be occasions where delays do occur due to circumstances beyond
our control i.e. weather conditions, strikes or road traffic conditions. Ski
Magic cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or compensation arising
from delays however caused.
9. SKIING
If you ski with a Ski Magic representative, whether an organised session or
other wise, Ski Magic cannot take responsibility for any injuries however caused.
At all times guests ski at their own risk.
10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Clients are responsible at all times for their own personal belongings, baggage
and ski equipment.
11. ANIMALS
We regret we cannot accept any animals in the chalets.
12. ALTERATIONS TO BOOKINGS
Alterations to bookings made after we have received your booking form will regrettably
incur an administration charge, which will be advised at the time.
